The EDM Spectrum - Ashley At Crobar

On January 2nd I recieved a phone call saying that I won 3 tix to see Serge Devant and Ferry Corsten at Crobar in NYC on January 6th. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go... Serge Devant is one of my friends on myspace so I decided to send him a message saying that I couldn't make it and that I was heart broken! He wrote me back telling me that he would change the date for me. He told me to make plans to come to Crobar on February 3rd to see him and Corsten! I was so excited! I couldn't believe how nice he was! So we started to make plans... I chose to take my best friends Ali and Katie... Ali's dad hooked us up with a free hotel room in Time Square!!! When we got to NYC were were anxious and nervous at the same time. We didn't know what to expect! Turns out... I didn't just win tix... we were on the owner's guest list... We skipped right up to the front of the long ass line outside the club and were let in without any problems. We met up with a Crobar staff member named Tim and he escorted us in. When we got to the first set of doors Serge Devant came barreling out of the door and our jaws just dropped! We were even more excited now!!! we continued to follow Tim into a roped off area. He was taking us into the main room that hadn't even opened up yet. They were still setting up for Serge to come on. He walked us over to the stage where we met another Crobar staff member named Eric. The slapped some black wrist bands on us and said that those wrist bands would get us anywhere in the club.. Even up on stage where the dj booth was and up on the VIP catwalk! We were speachless!!! we had no idea that we were going to get this kind of specialty treatment!! So then we started walking back to the front room with Tim. He put another wrist band on us and informed us that these would be for the open bar until 11:30pm. He then gave me 10 drink tickets to use after the open bar closed. At this point, Tim left us to do as we wished! So then the main room opened and Serge came on. We got some drinks and went out onto the dance floor to dance... when I realized... what the hell are we doing down here when we could be up in the dj booth with SERGE!!!! So we headed over to the dj booth.... Right as I walked up the stairs, Serge looked over, smiled at me, and came running out from behind the DJ booth to give me a hug!!! He recognized me from myspace and from winning the contest! He was very nice! Basically telling me congrats and he was glad that I could make it... He then told us to have fun and he returned to his tables. We partied all night up there! Even when Corsten came on! I got my picture with Serge and got an autograph from Corsten. I had also won an autographed CD from Serge! Everyone at Crobar was extremely nice and kept coming up to me to make sure I was having fun. They also kept asking if I needed anything like drinks and what not!! Which was funny, because up on stage we could drink as much Grey Goose as our little hearts desired! So basically... we were trashed when we left there at 6 in the morning... but I was so excited about being there, I haven't forgotten even one second of the night... I will be forever thankful that Serge and Club Planet made this weekend possible for me. Here are some of the pics from the most exciting night of my life! I hope you enjoy!
